- The 2023 Drink Summer League will be the same 4-person format (crew cup) as 2022 summer.
- There will be Social and Competitive divisions after week 4
- To determine which divisions you will play in, the first four weeks of league play will be a round robin.
- Your team will play 6 games per night. 3 games against one team and 3 against another. 48 games in total will be played the first 4 weeks.
- After week 4 the teams will be divided into a top division – competitive and bottom division – social.
- Once these divisions are created your team will play in that division the for the remainder of the season.
- Weeks 5-10 will be regular play, 6 games per night 3 against 1 team and 3 against another.
- Week 11 will be a double elimination tournament for each night, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Week 12 will be Tournament of nights. Double elimination tournament of the top 2 teams per night per division.
- Payouts
- Payouts will be on a percentage based depending on number of participants for
- At the end of 10 weeks $100 cash prize will be given to the best team in the social division and $100 in the competitive division for each night.
- Week 11 (nightly tournament) – Cash prizes for the top 3 teams in each division.
- A small percentage cash will be moved up to the competitive division.
- Example if Tuesday night fills with 12 teams, payouts for the Tuesday night tournament will be as follows
- 1st place competitive – $400
- 2nd place competitive – $300
- 3rd place competitive – $200
- 1st place social – $300
- 2nd Place social – $200
- 3rd Place social – $100
- Week 12 – Tournament of Champions – Cash prizes to the top 3 teams in each division.
- Because of the change to the 2 divisions, there will be a rules meeting June 1st2023 at The Drink at Lakewood at 7:00pm
